A teacher is missing from an Interview Period
In the event that you expect a teacher to be available for appointments during a particular Interview Period, but parents are unable to find a teacher in the list of available options, it's typically because the teacher has not been included when Selecting Available Teachers.
There are a couple reasons why this can happen (a new teacher was added to the database after initially configuring the Interview Period), but in any case you can resolve this by double-checking the available teachers for your Interview Periods. A guide is available here.
Parents can't create new accounts
In the case that parents are having trouble registering a new account/can't find the link to create a new account, you may find that your login screen looks like this (notice the lack of a "Create New Account" button):
This is a result of the Enable New Parent Registration configuration option being disabled. To enable this setting:
Click Tools from the main menu.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu that appears.
Ensure the Enable new parent registration option is checked.
Click Continue to save the configuration settings.
Now your login screen should resemble the following (notice the green Create New Account button is now available):
Parents can't schedule appointments
Parents may be unable to to schedule appointments for a couple of reasons, but the most likely reason is because the option to Enable scheduling of new appointments has been turned off. In this case parents will see the following message when attempting to schedule appointments:
To resolve this situation, we'll have to Enabled scheduling of new appointments:
Click Tools from the main menu.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu that appears.
Ensure the Enable scheduling of new appointments option is checked.
Click Continue to save the configuration settings.
